Here are important deadlines coming up:
OCTOBER 5
Deadline to Register to Vote. Boards of elections and the Ohio Secretary of Stateβs office are open until 9 p.m.
OCTOBER 6
Early In-Person Voting and Absentee Voting by Mail begin. You can vote at your county board of elections or early voting center 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

OCTOBER 24
You can early vote at your county board of elections or early voting center on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
OCTOBER 27
Absentee ballot applications must be received by your board of elections by 8:30 p.m.
OCTOBER 31
You can early vote at your county board of elections or early voting center on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
NOVEMBER 1
You can early vote at your county board of elections or early voting center on Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
NOVEMBER 3
Election Day: Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Non-Military and Overseas absentee ballots must be received by your board of elections by 7:30 p.m.
