Fred Reer admits he killed Amanda Dean; takes plea deal for involuntary manslaughter

NORWALK — Fred Reer Jr. admitted in court on Monday that he killed Amanda Dean on July 7, 2017.

Reer pleaded guilting to involuntary manslaughter, gross abuse of a corpse, and two counts of tampering with evidence, in a plea agreement. He is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 5.
