SANDUSKY — Ashli Ford wants everyone to just calm down.
“Fear not, friends. The oral arguments for my appeal have been moved from April 1 to June,” Ford announced Tuesday, suggesting a story at StayTunedSandusky.com was “stupid.”
“The hearing was simply rescheduled to allow my attorney Peter Pattakos to go on a planned vacation with his wife and children. Wild, right?”
Pattakos filed a motion last week asking for the delay after the court warned attorneys that there would have to be “extraordinary circumstances” before the court would consider changing the hearing date.
There is no ruling in the court docket on Pattakos’ request for a delay, although Ford said the hearing date has been changed.
